A Quality Fitted Kitchen Guaranteed with Kitchenroom

Posted by: Admin Category: Kitchenroom

At Kitchenroom we are proud to offer all our customers a 25 year guarantee on their cabinets, and a 10 and 7 year guarantee on their doors for wooden and MDF kitchens respectively. We are able to do this as we are so confident in the high quality of the kitchens we supply.

Having a new kitchen designed and fitted is an exciting, but ultimately somewhat disruptive experience and for most people is not something they want to repeat often. It is therefore important that the kitchen you choose is built to last and stand the test of time, which is the reassurance we can give you when you place an order with KItchenroom.

As a kitchen designer and supplier in Oxfordshire, we know that expectations around quality are high. A new kitchen requires a significant investment and so you want to know that you are purchasing something which is solidly made and durable. It is important to us that our clients are happy not only when installation is complete, but in the many years to follow also. It is therefore reassuring for our customers to know that we choose to partner only with suppliers of the very highest quality, crafting items which we know you will fall in love with.

We work with a broad range of different manufacturers, but here are a few of our preferred suppliers, who we know you will love just as much as we do!

First Impressions Kitchens

First Impressions, sometimes known as Multiwood is a national kitchen manufacturer founded by Doug Allen 30 years ago. Still a family-run company today, First Impressions kitchens encapsulate the latest trends in kitchen design and have a reputation as one of the UK’s leading suppliers of kitchen cabinet doors. Their values of loyalty, honesty and consideration define their approach and make them an absolute pleasure to deal with and a joy to recommend to our customers.

In 2020, First Impressions kitchens manufacture their timber doors in house, which offers our customers a great deal more flexibility with their design choices, as you can now have what you want, when you want, in any size or colour. To ensure they stay at the forefront of luxurious, modern trends, First Impressions also import a number of doors from Italy; a country synonymous with great style and quality. The recent switch towards in house manufacturing demonstrates how First Impressions kitchens really do have their finger on the pulse when it comes to consumer trends, with more and more people wanting to create a kitchen which feels genuinely unique and bespoke to them, whether that be with extra-tall units, space-saving cupboards, or interesting colours.

The finish of kitchen cupboard doors is really important and often one of the first things our customers look for. With a First Impressions kitchen you can be reassured that the finishing process is through, with all doors being ergonomically tested to ensure they have the level of smoothness and functionality you would expect from a product of this quality. The attention to detail truly is second to none and continues to improve as new finishes, textures and colours are added to the range of options all the time, meaning you can make your First Impressions Kitchen as unique as you are.

Burbidge Kitchens

When attending kitchen design visits in Oxfordshire we have been known to refer to Burbidge as ‘the Rolls Royce’ of kitchens, such is the esteem in which we hold them. Originally founded as a woodworking company in 1867, Burbidge has long been a successful name in British manufacturing and made the leap into kitchens in 1970 when a taste for real wood kitchens remerged in amongst an era of melamine and laminate. Now over 150 years old, Burbidge is synonymous with the best of British quality, having been awarded the prestigious Manufacturing Guild Mark by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers – a mark of excellence in British furniture making.

As you might expect from a company with such proud British heritage, all Burbidge kitchen doors are manufactured in Britain by a team of long-standing members whose care and attention to detail are second to none. Their products too have a distinctly British feel at their core, whist being varied in style and colour. In fact, Burbidge have over 40 different ranges, 26 colours and a variety of different finishes, meaning you really are spoilt for choice!

“We know your kitchen will be one of the places in your world you will feel most “at home” and we want you to be very comfortable in the choice you make. After all, you don’t buy a kitchen very many times in your life – we want to give you that instinctive sense of satisfaction derived from choosing well.” – Burbidge Website

Burbidge kitchens look fantastic, but they are highly practical too, with a great deal of time and thought having been put into the methods and materials used to seal the kitchens, meaning your kitchen will continue to look as good as new for many years.

Quartz Kitchen Worktops

Manufactured stone countertops have surged in popularity over the past ten years and are now the most popular option for customers looking for a solid stone worktop, replacing the previous favourite, Granite. We love quartz worktops for the durability and practicality they offer, but also the huge range of different styles and designs that are available to help make each kitchen truly unique.

There are a wide range of manufactured stone worktops on the market, but some of the most popular are; Caesarstone, Silestone, Cambria, Cimstone, Classic Quartz, Compac, Dekton, Lunastone, Sensa, and Stone Italiana.

Fitting worktops is a crucial part of the kitchen installation process, as you only get one shot at getting it right, and as such we only use the highest quality fabricators. Our preferred supplier will visit your home to take the correct measurements and create a template for your stone worktops, which will then be produced and cut, ready to be fitted a few days later. Our suppliers are special in that they do not use any sub-contractors. All templating and installation is carried out by their team of highly skilled craftspeople, ensuring that each kitchen is completed to the highest standard from start to finish.

Bushboard Laminate Worktops

We are big fans of laminate worktops as a really stylish but cost effective addition to your kitchen. Laminate worktops are hard wearing and available in a huge variety of styles and designs, which makes them a really versatile choice and hugely popular with our customers.

We work with a supplier called Bushboard, who have been developing kitchen surfaces since 1935, so they know a thing or two about a good laminate worktop and believe everyone deserves great design, whatever their budget. Whether you like the marble look, poured concrete, or a scandi-inspired wooden worktop, Bushboard are sure to have something which fits your vision, which is why they are one of our suppliers of choice.

Sinks, Taps and Appliances

When it comes to sinks, taps and accessories, the sky is the limit as to what you choose, however there are some suppliers which we recommend to our customers due to their exceptional quality. If you are familiar with this blog you will have read about Perrin & Rowe taps many times, as we really do think they take some beating in terms of design and quality, as well as the fabulous Quooker boiling water tap. We are also big fans of Franke sinks, which are multiple award winning and hugely varied, with everything from stainless steel to granite.

Anything goes with regards to appliances too, but as a good starting point we recommend Stoves, SMEG, Indesit, Neff, Hotpoint and Bosch. These brands have great reputations built on high levels of quality and innovative design, and span a wide range of price points, which let’s face it, is important when it comes to planning your new kitchen. We are certainly not limited to supplying these brands and can work alongside any manufacturer you like, so please don’t fret if you don’t find what you’re looking for there.
