Kitchenroom Ltd is a family-run fitted kitchen company based in Didcot, near Oxford. We supply 82 stock coloured kitchens for 2026, from modern slab and handleless (J-pull) to traditional shaker. Every kitchen can be fully fitted or supply only.
Building an extension? We specialise in kitchens for new extensions. In over 10 years we’ve designed, supplied and fitted over 100 of them, and we can design your kitchen from your architect’s plans, before the extension is even built.

Fitted kitchen cost
A lot of customers ask us how much it costs to fit a new kitchen. The answer depends on your design and how complex it is.
As a rough guide, fitting costs about:
- £1,600 for a small kitchen
- £2,400 for a medium kitchen
- £3,000 for a large kitchen
- £3,800 for an extra large kitchen
This is for a dry fit only (fitting the kitchen itself). It doesn’t include extras you might need, such as plastering, plumbing, electrics, tiling, flooring, painting and decorating, taking out your old kitchen or skip hire.
It takes around 1 to 2 weeks from start to finish, or 2 to 3 weeks if you choose quartz worktops.
Week one: we remove your old kitchen and start the plastering, plumbing and electrics.
Week two: we fit your new kitchen. Depending on your worktop, it could be up and running by the end of that week.
Fully fitted or supply only
Once you have approved your 3D kitchen design and quote, you just choose our full fitting service or supply only.
Fully fitted: our kitchen fitter visits at a time that suits you. They check all the measurements and finish the survey. They also talk to you about any extra work you need. That could be plastering, plumbing, electrics (first and second fix), flooring, tiling, or even knocking down a wall.
Supply only: your own fitter should check our final plans. This makes 100% sure the kitchen will fit, and is standard practice in the kitchen industry.

Yes, it’s 100% free. You don’t have to buy the kitchen from us. You can simply say no thank you.
Do you charge extra for cabinets made to size?
No. We don’t charge a single penny more for a cabinet made to size.
What colour are the cabinets?
You can choose from 8 cabinet colours at no extra charge: white, ivory, cashmere, porcelain, light grey, dark grey, graphite and Lancaster oak.
How long does it take?
Stock colour kitchens are delivered within 3 weeks of you approving your final design. Fitting then takes around 1 to 2 weeks, or 2 to 3 weeks with quartz worktops, as the quartz is laser-measured and made to size first.
How easy is it to get a new kitchen?
Our customers often tell us how easy it was to get a new kitchen. That’s because we sort everything out for you, from start to finish.
When can I see the doors and worktops?
On your free home visit we measure up and ask what you do and don’t want in your new kitchen. We also bring sample doors and worktops (laminate, solid wood and quartz) in our Kitchenroom vans.
